Neil Spring writes psychological chillers, many of which are inspired by real events. His debut novel, The Ghost Hunters, was adapted into a critically acclaimed television drama for ITV. His second novel, The Watchers, concerns UFO sightings during the Cold War. In 2017, he published The Lost Village, a ghost story about the haunting of the abandoned Imber Village. The Burning House, set on the shores of Loch Ness, is his fourth novel.
